It’s better to clean your vacuum cleaner in three stages including the rotating brush, the canister, and the filters.



Clean the rotating brush

It’s very easy for your rotating brush to get stuck by pet hair, so you need to clean it in advance:

Step 1: Before anything else, turn off your shark navigator nv360, then turn it over. There will be a lot of dirt and dust falling out, so it’s better to put your vacuum cleaner in a garbage bag that will keep your house from a huge mess.

Step 2: Check if there is any pet hair, old bits of food, and lego stuck in this part. You can untangle them with a pair of scissors.

Step 3: After removing all debris that you can see, let you gently scrub your rotating brush with a small brush to get rid of the remaining debris.

Clean the canister

Step 1: You have to empty all garbage in the canister.

Step 2: Then, you use a cloth to clean the inside of the canister. This process takes you a few minutes to finish, after that you just have to leave it in the air to dry completely.



Clean the filters

Any Shark NV360 Reviews has HEPA filters that have the ability to keep nasty dust and allergens inside without blowing back into the air. This is also the reason why these parts need to be cleaned the most.

You need to clean your HEPA filter immediately when it produces a funky smell.

Note:

Some people will replace foam and felt filters to minimize abnormal noise and improve the vacuum smell. If you are one of them, don’t forget to clean these parts as well. They are pretty delicate, so I don’t highly recommend you to wash them. In case this is a must, ensure to do as gentle as possible. Follow my guide below:

- Step 1: Remove all of the felt filters.

- Step 2: Tap over the garbage to get rid of as much dust as possible. This action helps your cleaning process easier.

- Step 3: Rinse your felt filters with mildly warm water. Gently squeeze or rub the filters to remove all dust. If you don’t want to use water, you can try a mild washing detergent. In this case, you just should apply a very small amount. Keep rinsing until you see the clear water coming out.

- Step 4: Let your filters dry. Put them back when your filters dry completely.
